Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking a Work Preparation Engineer in Stord, Norway. You will create Work Packs, support contractors, and ensure HSSE and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate should have a vocational education, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of construction processes. The contract runs from December 2025 to May 2026.

Qualifications

• Vocational education with trade certificate or 10 years of experience in a petroleum-related industry.
• Construction experience required.
• Strong comprehension of safety issues and HSSE practices.

Responsibilities

• Create Work Packs for installation in Pims.
• Collaborate and support contractors in project execution.
• Review material needs and availability for tasks.

Skills

Vocational education with trade certificate

Minimum 5 years’ experience from related industry

Knowledge of MC completion and construction

Good understanding of oral and written English

Familiar with Pims CMS

Work Preparation Engineer - EIT - LV / Automation

Contract period: 01.12.2025 – 30.05.2026
Location: Årskog

Main tasks

• Create Work Packs for installation in Pims
• Close collaboration and support to contractor
• Provide discipline input
• Be a role model and driving force in HSSE, quality and productivity work
• Review safety issues related to execution of the planned work and the need for SJA
• Make decisions based on multidisciplinary thinking in accordance with project's implementation model – PEM
• Review material need and availability

Qualifications

• Vocational education with trade certificate, minimum 5 years’ experience from related industry
• Alternative 10 years’ experience from petroleum related industry
• Construction experience
• Knowledge and understanding of MC completion and construction
• Good understanding of oral and written English
• Familiar with Pims CMS
