Job summary

A leading energy development company is seeking a Project Completion Engineer to support construction activities in Norway. The role involves preparing work packs, collaborating with contractors, and ensuring the safety and quality of on-site work. Candidates should have a vocational education, a strong safety mindset, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant field. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant industry or 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in construction and Mechanical Completion (MC) processes.
  • Solid understanding of work preparation within EIT disciplines.

Project Completion Engineer – Work Preparation (EIT – LV / Automation)
Locations: Bergen / Stavanger

We are seeking experienced Work Preparation Engineers within Low-Voltage (LV) and Automation disciplines to support construction activities on the site. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, forward-looking energy development.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and create work packs for installation in Pims.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors to support installation planning and execution.
  • Provide discipline-specific input to the planning and preparation process.
  • Take an active role in promoting HSSE and quality on-site.
  • Assess safety issues related to planned work and determine the need for safe job analysis (SJA).
  • Evaluate material needs and ensure availability.
  • Make informed, multidisciplinary decisions in alignment the project execution model.
Qualifications:
  • Vocational education with a trade certificate and minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant industry, or minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in construction and Mechanical Completion (MC) processes.
  • Solid understanding of work preparation within EIT disciplines (Low-Voltage and/or Automation).
  • Familiarity with Pims CMS.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
