Job summary

Work corp in the United States seeks a skilled Welder to join our structural steel fabrication team. You will read blueprints, prepare components, and weld structural parts to spec.

Proficiency in MIG, TIG and stick welding, plus strong attention to detail and safety, are essential. Accommodation is provided for all nationalities. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and handle physical demands of the job.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder in a structural steel fabrication environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG and stick welding techniques.
• Familiarity with various welding tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce highquality welds.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Measure, cut and shape structural steel components.
• Operate welding equipment to fuse metal parts together.
• Ensure welds meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Conduct repairs as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
