Employee must read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Possess basic written communication skills and have ability to apply concepts of basic math. Basic PC skills. The work environment is very fast paced and noisy. It is one of constant movement while performing the duties of this job. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading freight.
  • Receiving inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations.
  • Packing and unpacking of goods.
  • Stocking received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production.
  • Picking materials, components & products and delivers them to Production or shipping.
  • Perform SAP transaction.
  • Liaise with AMO/ Mfg /Service Delivery/Logistics/Quality as needed to ensure on time delivery.
  • Performing cycle counts and asset verification.
  • Performing daily forklift control.
  • Ensuring the work area is maintained in a safe and proper condition through correct handling and storage of equipment and tools.
  • Perform data entry into respective systems timely & accurately.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Follows the competency management program requirements and works under intermittent supervision.
  • Basic 6S and Lean experience.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate similar experience within a Material Handling or Warehouse role.
  • Have a forklift license (T1, T2, T3 and T4).
  • Hold a Logistics certificate of apprenticeship.
  • Have excellent communication skills in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
  • Have excellent computer skills, especially SAP but Excel & Outlook would be an advantage.
  • Have the ability to work in a team and use own initiative.
