Virtualization Specialist - Virtualized Software Operating System

The position

You will be a key member of the technical team reporting to our CTO. Your department will focus on Virtualization, with an anticipated team of about 3 people within the next 3 years, within a larger technical department of approximately 25 people.

As the head of Virtualized Software Operating System, you will primarily work with our software solution, including virtualization, operations, reporting, alerts, APIs, etc.

Your responsibilities include developing our virtualization solution based on Red Hat technologies, implementing it within our organization and integrating it with other solutions. You will also establish best practices for software build-out and operations, overseeing our software solution from data center to NOC to customer.

You will train and develop the team to ensure skilled manpower in this technology, mitigating delivery risks.

About you

• Degree or Diploma, preferably in Computer Science, Operating Systems, Virtualization, or Orchestration
• 3–5 years of experience in ICT, Networking, Software, Data Center, Servers, or Security
• Deep knowledge of telecommunications protocols and technologies such as OSI, IPv4, Ethernet, Linux, Open Compute, HPC, etc.
