Job summary

Tieto Caretech is seeking an experienced UX Designer to contribute to Data Driven Care solutions. You will work with Product Management, designers, and development teams to create intuitive end-to-end experiences across our healthcare products.

You will perform user research, develop wireframes, flows, and maintain a design system, while staying current with UI trends. English required; Finnish, Norwegian or Swedish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Product or UX Designer roles.
• Strong UX design skills with a solid portfolio.
• Experience designing end-to-end user flows.
• Experience with Figma and design systems.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into user-centred solutions.
• Good written and spoken English; Finnish, Norwegian or Swedish also valued.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are now looking for an experienced UX Designer to contribute to our solutions at Tieto Caretech, Data Driven Care.

As a UX Designer, you will work closely with other Product Management, other designers, development teams and key stakeholders to build innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.

As a UX Designer you will:

Participate in all design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering

Develop original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks

Discuss designs and key milestone deliverables with peers and executive level stakeholders

Perform user research and evaluate user feedback

Prepare wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

Stay up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

We are looking for someone with:

2+ years' experience of working in a Product or UX Designer position

Profound UX design skills with a solid portfolio of design projects

Strong team player abilities and presentation skills

Experience designing user flows and intuitive end-to-end experiences

Good understanding of user needs, behaviours, and system interactions

Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, user-centred solutions

Experience working with design systems and established UI patterns

Solid experience working with Figma

Good understanding of working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Curious and proactive, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities

Strong focus on delivering real value

Good written and verbal English, in addition to Finnish, Norwegian or Swedish

AI knowledge requirement

AI literacy is expected for this role. You will be comfortable using approved AI tools to improve quality and productivity in everyday work (e.g., drafting, summarising, analysing, and automating routine tasks). You can write clear prompts/instructions, critically evaluate and validate AI outputs, and apply sound judgement when results are incomplete, biased, or incorrect. You understand and follow company policies and applicable legal/regulatory requirements for confidentiality, privacy, security, and responsible AI use (including not sharing sensitive data in unapproved tools).
