Job summary

OriLoan Financial, Inc is seeking a motivated UI/UX Designer Intern to help design fintech interfaces for an AI-powered mortgage CRM. Work remotely or in a hybrid setup, with a flexible part-time schedule and hands-on design tasks across loan application and CRM workflows.

You will create wireframes and prototypes in Figma, map user journeys, build a reusable UI component library, and collaborate with AI engineering and marketing teams to ensure clarity, trust, and consistent branding.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in UX Design, Product Design, HCI, Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
• Basic experience with Figma or similar design tools.
• Strong visual design sense and attention to detail.
• Interest in fintech, real estate, mortgage technology, SaaS, or AI products.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into clear user experiences.
• Portfolio, class project, or sample design work preferred.
• Knowledge of design systems, responsive design, or frontend basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design reusable UI components for borrower-facing and internal workflows.

You'll translate complex loan application, processing, and CRM workflows into clean, intuitive, user-friendly interface designs. Hands-on work for students interested in fintech, SaaS, AI tools, real estate, mortgage lending, and product design.

What you'll do

• Create wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes in Figma.
• Design reusable UI components for borrower-facing and internal workflows.
• Help map user journeys for loan application, document collection, CRM follow-up, and loan processing.
• Work with the AI engineering intern to design interfaces for AI-assisted workflows.
• Work with the marketing intern to ensure product design and brand messaging are consistent.

• Design borrower onboarding and loan application screens.
• Create UI components for document upload, task status, loan milestone tracking, and borrower follow-up.
• Design CRM dashboards for leads, contacts, conversations, follow-up reminders, and AI-generated suggestions.
• Create wireframes for AI-assisted loan processing workflows.
• Build a Figma component library for buttons, forms, cards, tables, status badges, and navigation.
• Improve user flows for borrower intake, agent referral tracking, and internal team operations.
