UI/UX Designer in ACT (Part-Time)

Introduction

Hi there! Are you a talented UI/UX designer? Do you realize how powerful your design skills are and how they can be used to make the world a better place? At ACT, we have developed a scalable mobile marketplace for sustainable grocery shopping, empowering consumers to start shopping sustainably with the ACT app. This initiative aims to shift purchasing power towards environmentally respectful producers and fair labor practices.

Skills Required
  1. At least 3 years of relevant experience
  2. Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  3. App wireframing skills
  4. Experience in user journey-oriented thinking and navigation mapping
  5. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and methods, such as material design and metaphor reuse
Ideal Candidate Qualities
  1. Good collaboration skills in an international team
  2. Disciplined, self-driven, honest, and kind-hearted
  3. Team player capable of building effective and fun relationships across diverse backgrounds
  4. Enjoys remote work and flexible schedules
  5. Fluent in English
  6. Able to sustain a decent living with a stable job and dedicate at least 10 hours per week to ACT
Compensation & Commitment

Initially, compensation will be in shares/equity with the goal of transitioning to a cash salary. We understand the unconventional nature of this offer and the lack of immediate pay, but we are passionate about our vision and eager to find team members who share this passion.
