Job summary

NextPartners in Bergen, Norway seeks an experienced Truck Driver to safely transport goods and maintain vehicle readiness. You will follow regulations, load/unload cargo, and keep precise logs while communicating with dispatchers and team members.

The role requires 2+ years driving experience, a clean record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug testing. English skills are essential; Norwegian is a plus. Weekend/evening shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
• Clean driving record with no violations.
• Minimum 2 years trucking experience.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Strong English skills; Norwegian is a plus.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs; fit for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.

Job description

A reputable transportation and logistics company is seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team in Bergen Norway As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various locations You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and maintenance of your truck

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
• Conduct routine inspections of the truck and report any issues or maintenance needs
• Keep accurate records of deliveries mileage fuel consumption etc
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers customers and other team members
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements

• Valid drivers license CDL preferred
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Strong communication skills in English Norwegian proficiency is a plus
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
• Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends or evenings if needed

We are offering a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position
