Test Analyst (Functional Testing / IRIN Experience)

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Test Analyst to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and managing testing activities to ensure software and applications function according to specifications and business requirements.

Candidates with experience in Inland Revenue Interactive Network (IRIN) or other government-related projects will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The Test Analyst is responsible to lead the testing of software/applications to ensure they function accordingly to specifications and clients' requirements to meet the business needs. Conducts testing using preferred organizational practices & established processes contained in the Test Methodology to ensure test objective of the project is met. Project clearance will be required as this role is to work on site in Novena Revenue House.

Project Delivery

• Understand and analyze testing requirements to prepare test plan, and test design
• Advise project team on design consideration to facilitate meeting of requirements. Advise business analysts and/or customers on the testing requirements and test techniques
• Prepare and ensure readiness of test bed and test environment to carry out the test execution
• Execute test in accordance to the test design
• Analyze test results and work with respective teams to resolve issues such as defect open and resolution rate, bottlenecks in performance and other defects
• Prepare test report for submission
• Provide regular test results updates
• Recommend and use automated testing tools where appropriate
• Manage test activities and ensure the planned test activities are completed as scheduled

• Create awareness; conduct training on test techniques, assists in implementation of test standards, consistent methodology, best practices and principles.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Minimum 3–4 years of IT or software testing experience.

Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Experience with Functional Testing is mandatory.

Preferred: Experience working on projects involving the Inland Revenue Interactive Network (IRIN).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
