Technical Sales Executive – Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark)

As a Technical Sales Executive at Nordcloud, you will be a driving force in our sales organization, identifying client needs, designing cloud solutions, and managing the entire sales process. By delivering innovative cloud solutions, you will help clients increase operational efficiency and reduce costs, ensuring that technology drives measurable business outcomes.

Your technical acumen and consultative approach will empower you to understand complex client challenges, architect impactful solutions, and communicate the business benefits of cloud adoption to C‑level and technical stakeholders.

You will own your results, demonstrate a winner’s attitude, and collaborate closely with colleagues across Nordcloud and IBM Consulting to achieve your goals.

Your key responsibilities
  • Lead Technical Sale's Engagements: Identify client needs and design tailored cloud solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. Drive new business within existing client base as well as within new logo acquisitions leveraging your technical expertise, solution mindset and ability to link desired business value to technical solutions.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work as part of larger teams—often led by IBM Consulting—integrating Nordcloud’s cloud solutions and value proposition into comprehensive, high‑impact deals. Build strong relationships with internal teams, partners (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and stakeholders to deliver best‑in‑class solutions.
  • Create Business Value: Apply a solution‑based sales approach to address complex customer challenges, always focusing on how technology can advance the client’s strategic objectives.
  • Ownership for Results: Take full responsibility for meeting and exceeding sales targets in consultancy and service sales, with a focus on cloud infrastructure, modernization, managed services, and consulting portfolios.
  • Drive and Winner’s Attitude: Approach every opportunity with energy, resilience, and a relentless drive to win. Celebrate successes and learn from setbacks, always striving for excellence.
  • Solution Workshops & Discovery: Lead workshops and discovery sessions with client stakeholders to uncover pain points and co‑create strategies that maximize the value of cloud adoption.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Nordcloud at industry events and in the media, showcasing your expertise and our leadership in cloud technology.
What we are looking for
  • Experience: 7+ years in technical sales, solution sales, IT consulting, or cloud services, with a strong technical foundation and a proven track record of winning and growing new business.
  • Solution Understanding: Knowledge of public cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), migration strategies, and cloud‑native solutions. Ability to map technology capabilities to client business needs.
  • Consultative Approach: Experience working directly with C‑level stakeholders and senior IT executives, translating technical concepts into business value. With solution selling methodology you will craft tailored value propositions for complex cloud projects.
  • Ownership & Drive: Demonstrated ability to take ownership for results, operate with a winner’s attitude, and thrive in high‑growth, fast‑paced environments.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate across teams and organizations, including cloud partners, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language.
  • Bonus Points: Hands‑on experience with cloud services offerings, tools, and processes. Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are highly valued.
