KONGSBERG Discovery is seeking a Manufacturing Operator / Skilled Manufacturing Operator to assemble and quality‑assure high‑tech products designed for demanding environments at depth.

You will join a dedicated, technically skilled team, perform assembly and testing per procedures, maintain documentation, and help improve processes while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience from manufacturing, assembly, repair, testing, or similar technical work.
• A vocational certificate in Production Technology or a related field is an advantage; full training will be provided
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English
• Crane operator certification is an advantage

Responsabilités

• Perform pressure testing safely and efficiently, including test preparation, monitoring, and quality control
• Contribute to the company’s HSE initiatives and support a safe and collaborative working environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure full traceability of all work performed
• Ensure proper maintenance and control of tools and equipment
• Assemble and handle equipment, including tasks that may be physically demanding
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities across processes and workflows
• Communicate findings, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities with the Team Leader, Product Owners, and other Kongsberg employees

Manufacturing Operator / Skilled Manufacturing Operator

An exciting opportunity has become available at Kongsberg Discovery for a Manufacturing Operator / Skilled Manufacturing Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and quality-assuring our high-tech products. These products operate in demanding environments at great depths, which means that all products must undergo thorough manufacturing and testing processes.

You will be part of a dedicated, technically skilled, and quality-focused team. Your main responsibilities will include carrying out assembly and testing in accordance with established procedures, ensuring that products meet the required quality standards, and reporting and following up on any deviations that may be identified.

For this position, we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, structured, and highly focused on quality, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. If you also enjoy working independently and taking ownership of your tasks, we would be pleased to receive your application.
