Job summary

Eden School in Singapore is seeking a part-time Teacher Aide to support classroom teaching and student activities. You will assist the lead teacher, implement Visual Supports and ASD Prompts, and help prepare learning materials and arrange resources.

Shifts run 8:15 am–1:15 pm or 12:30 pm–5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with on-site work at Eden School locations. Prior teaching or nursing experience is a plus; O Level or equivalent is required; contract is 1 year renewable.

Qualifications

• Minimum O Level.
• Teaching or Nursing experience is an advantage.
• 1-year renewable contract role.
• Working days: Monday to Friday.
• Shift: Morning Session (8:15 am–1:15 pm) or Afternoon Session (12:30 pm–5:30 pm).

• Assist the teacher in the class to work with the students.
• Assist the teacher in using Visual Supports and ASD Prompts for the students.
• Assist the teacher to set up the resources and physical arrangements in the class.
• Assist the teacher to prepare resources for teaching and learning.
• Assist the teacher when they bring the students out of school for their off-site activities.
• Assist the teachers in special events.
• Prepare the toys/games and set up the play stations for Play @ Recess.
• Attend relevant training both in house and external as assigned by the school.
