Ischebeck Nordic AS seeking a hands‑on Finance Manager who combines strong accounting and finance expertise with a proactive, improvement‑oriented mindset. This is a key role in a small but dynamic organization, where you will take ownership of finance, HR, and administrative processes, ensuring robust controls and supporting various strategic initiatives. The role reports to the CEO and our office is located in Spydeberg.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting and Reporting
- Maintain accurate general ledger and subledger entries
- Prepare monthly closing process and reporting
- Manage annual closing process, including inventory valuation and external audit
- Ensure VAT reporting, income tax filings, and compliance with statutory deadlines
- Implement international tax strategies and ensure compliance
Financial Analysis
- Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts
- Prepare Actual vs. Budget reports with variance analysis and commentary
- Produce regular financial reports (sales statistics, inventory, KPIs)
- Proactively provide management with insights for decision‑making
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity; prepare forecasts and reports
Controlling & Internal Controls
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Ensure timely follow‑up on overdue receivables and enforce collection policies
- Identify improvement opportunities in systems and processes.
HR, Administration & IT
- Oversee payroll and employment contracts
- Manage company cars and travel expense accounting
- Act as first point of contact for inspections and compliance checks
- Act as ERP Key User for proALPHA (accounting and inventory)
- Contract management (real estate contracts, long‑term lease contracts, etc.)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in business administration, finance, or accounting
- Minimum 5‑10 years of experience from audit, accounting, controlling or similar roles
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes
- Strong ERP and MS Excel skills
- Excellent communication skill
- Advanced financial analysis capabilities
- Fluent in Norwegian and English (German is a plus)
