Job summary

Lace Lithography is seeking a System Engineer to join the System Design team. You will architect and design our lithography systems, working with physicists and developers to lead the first industrialized tool as a bridge between departments.

The role is based in Barcelona (Spain) or Bergen (Norway) with regular travel between locations. You will define requirements, interfaces and ensure SEMI S2 compliance while leading cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor equipment design and manufacturing (min 2 years).
  • Strong knowledge in optics and metrology.
  • Requirements engineering experience.
  • System architecture and integration: interface control and modular design.
  • Planning, risk assessment and stakeholder management.
  • BOM management.
  • FMEA and troubleshooting.
  • Background in physics, mathematics, mechanical engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Define requirements of the tool's subsystems and modules.

Lace Lithography is seeking a highly experienced System Engineer to join our System Design team. In this high-impact role, you will architect and design our lithography systems.

Working alongside physicists and developers, you will be working as a lead designer of Lace's first industrialized tool.

This role is based in Barcelona (Spain) or Bergen (Norway), and will involve regular travel between our key locations throughout the year.

What You'll do
  • Define requirements of the tool's subsystems and modules
