Job summary

AlSaree AutoTechnics in Svalbard is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to create technical drawings and models using CAD software. You will assist with project management, ensure compliance with building codes, and collaborate with architects, engineers, clients and contractors throughout the design process.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology and at least 3 years of experience, with strong AutoCAD or Revit skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role.
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to create technical drawings and models for construction projects.
• Use CAD software to create accurate and detailed designs.
• Assist with project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors and clients.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure that designs are being implemented correctly.
• Stay updated on building codes and regulations to ensure all designs adhere to legal standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors throughout the design process.
