A leading grocery services firm in Oslo is seeking a Sustainability Manager. You will lead sustainability reporting, monitor industry trends, and drive the sustainability strategy aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of ESG frameworks. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact within a collaborative team.
At Oda, we develop affordable grocery services to make the logistics of living surprisingly easy. We built Norway’s leading online grocery store and, now partnered with Mathem in Sweden, we’re on our way to becoming the world’s most effective retail system, delivering to thousands of Scandinavian doorsteps every week.
As part of our team, you’ll work with smart, passionate colleagues who bring their whole selves to work every day. It’s a fast-moving, collaborative environment where everyone is welcome and everyone’s opinion matters. Whether you're shaping the future of online retail, tackling complex logistical problems, or making everyday life better for our customers, your work will have a real impact.
Our world-class logistics and tech solutions allow us to reduce food waste, save time and money, and ease the mental and physical load for people who want more space for life.
Own and lead Oda’s sustainability reporting, including CSRD, ESG frameworks, and the annual sustainability report.
Collect, improve, and verify sustainability data, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to anticipate risks and identify opportunities.
Drive sustainability strategy in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, working across all functions to embed sustainable practices in everyday operations.
Perform ESG risk assessments and ensure compliance with frameworks such as the Norwegian and EU Transparency Act.
Partner closely with teams across Oda and Mathem to create impact, engagement, and measurable results.
We believe you’re comfortable balancing hands-on reporting with strategic thinking. You pay close attention to detail and can navigate complex regulations, while also spotting opportunities to push our sustainability agenda forward. You’re proactive and independent, but also a confident communicator—able to align leaders across Oda and Mathem and inspire colleagues to embed sustainable practices in their daily work.
Ideally 3–5 years of relevant work experience, for example within sustainability, consulting, controlling, auditing, or similar fields
Hands-on experience with sustainability reporting and frameworks.
Strong knowledge of ESG strategy, climate assessments, and regulatory requirements.
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
Good at communicating and building relationships, comfortable working with different kinds of stakeholders.
It’s a bonus if you’re passionate about using business to create positive environmental and social impact.
It's great if you've got experience from management consulting, especially in sustainability or strategy.
