Job summary

Hydro seeks a Master-level candidate to analyze power systems across Norwegian, Nordic, and European scopes using advanced data models. You will evaluate business models for grid companies, consumers, storage, and production, and assess new technologies affecting the grid.

Responsibilities include developing grid tariff strategies, identifying regulatory changes, and collaborating with authorities, grid operators, and policymakers to support Hydro projects and grid development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, IT, Economics, Law).
• Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
• Copies of transcripts, diplomas and certificates must be included with the application.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the development of Norwegian, Nordic and European power systems using advanced data models.
• Analyze the business models of grid companies, consumers, storage and power production.
• Evaluate new technologies affecting the power system.
• Evaluate and develop grid tariff strategies supporting Hydro’s activities.
• Identify the need for regulatory changes and evaluate Hydro’s grid owner operations.
