DeepOcean is seeking an experienced Sub-Contract Specialist to join our team at one of our locations in Norway (Haugesund, Stavanger, Oslo) or in UK (Aberdeen) as required.

As a Sub-Contract Specialist, you’ll be responsible for ensuring effective procurement and subcontractor management throughout the tender and project lifecycle. You’ll work closely with project teams and suppliers to deliver high-quality results.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading procurement activities in line with company and client procedures.
  • Developing and executing subcontract strategies during tender and project phases.
  • Managing RFQs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Conducting supplier pre‑qualifications and audits.
  • Supporting supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You bring:

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement or contracting, ideally in subsea, renewables, or oil & gas.
  • Education and/or relevant experience within Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to handle complex procurement challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
