Hurma is seeking a skilled developer to help overhaul the Ticket Management System and Athlete Portal using React+TypeScript and Node.js. You will address ownership and registration challenges and contribute to robust front-end and back-end work.
The role offers remote-friendly terms, a salary review after 12 months, flexible schedule, paid leave, equipment, and professional development options as the projects evolve with users and players.
Project Description:
Ticket Management System – enables users to purchase, resell, and use tickets for sports events.
Athlete Portal – a platform for athlete registration, performance tracking, and competition participation management.
Must-have:
3+ years of experience working with the following technologies:
Experience with React + TypeScript, including core concepts and custom hooks
Experience with Node.js
Nice-to-have:
Currently, the project faces several challenges that require solutions:
Ticket ownership issues – Tickets remain linked to the original buyer, even if resold, leading to incorrect participant registrations and inaccurate result tracking.
Lack of a flexible ownership transfer system – There is no smooth mechanism to change ticket ownership during resale.
Ticket categorization problems – For example, male tickets may sell out, causing men to purchase female tickets, leading to registration confusion.
Athlete Portal UI/UX issues – The current interface does not properly display athlete data and interactions.
Planned Improvements:
Implementing an updated ticket transfer mechanism to correctly register the actual ticket owner.
Enhancing ticket category management to align participant registration with gender, status, and other parameters.
Developing a new UI/UX for the Athlete Portal to improve information display and logical connections between users and their results.
