Job summary

Nexans in Trondheim, Norway seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead the Grid & Connect Norway supply chain. You will drive delivery performance, optimize inventories, and develop your team while aligning with Nexans' growth agenda in electrification.

You will shape the strategic direction of the supply chain function, advance Lean practices, and foster a culture of safety and operational excellence across the organization. Experience in S&OP is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in business or engineering, preferably with supply chain focus.
• Management experience in a manufacturing or grid & connect environment.
• Strong supply chain knowledge and IT literacy, especially master data structures.
• Experience with S&OP is preferred.
• Industrial experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Supply Chain department for Grid & Connect Norway.
• Ensure correct service levels and optimal stock and working capital.
• Responsible for Purchasing, Sourcing, Planning, and S&OP.
• Lead and develop the team with strong focus on safety and competence.
• Further develop Lean methodology and business efficiency.
• Influence and analyze important strategic decisions for our competitiveness.
• Support business growth and profitability.
