Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in financial control or senior finance role within a financial services firm.
• Understanding of FCA regulatory reporting and prudential requirements.
• Experience managing outsourced finance or tax providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage outsourced bookkeeping provider ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and execute a plan to insource key financial processes.

Skills

Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

5+ years’ experience in financial control or senior finance role

Strong understanding of FCA regulatory reporting and prudential requirements

Experience managing outsourced finance or tax providers

Proven track record of producing accurate management and statutory accounts

Hands-on experience with modern accounting systems

Experience within a brokerage or trading environment

Knowledge of CASS client money rules

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Education
