Vår Energi AS in Stavanger is seeking a Strategic Business Advisor to drive and strengthen the company's strategic development and performance agenda. You will support strategy development, performance follow-up and risk management across the organization, turning priorities into actionable plans and providing decision support to senior management.

About the position

We are looking for a Strategic Business Advisor to help drive and strengthen Vår Energi's strategic development and performance agenda.

In this role, you will support strategy development, performance follow-up and risk management across the company. Working closely with business lines and senior management, you will help turn strategic priorities into practical actions and support decisions that improve performance and create value.
You will support the development and follow-up corporate strategies, providing high-quality analysis, decision support to senior management and translate strategic priorities into actionable plans. You will also contribute to performance follow-up, risk monitoring and improvement initiatives across the company.

You will play an important role in identifying improvement opportunities and supporting initiatives that strengthen performance and value creation across the company. By combining strategic thinking with performance insight and risk awareness, you will help enable better decisions and stronger execution across the organisation.

Background and experience

Master's degree in in relevant field

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably from the oil and gas industry

Solid knowledge of the energy industry and energy markets

Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, practices, and business conditions
