About the role

The role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that Vår Energi’s supply base and warehouse operations at Polarbase meets customer’s requirements and that they are performed in compliance with HSEQ standard, internal policies and external regulations.

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to HSEQ standards within supply base and warehouse operations.
  • Register, track, and manage Synergi cases related to the abovementioned operations.
  • Accountable for all Vår Energi’s operations at Polarbase, including but not limited to:
    • Ensure timely and accurate logistics services to assets and rigs
    • Focal point for all Vår Energi activities at the supply base.
    • Ensure operational compliance with all applicable internal and external requirements.
    • Manage service contractors, storage areas, and equipment in line with contractual obligations.
    • Maintain close collaboration with service providers and relevant external stakeholders.
    • Act as the focal point for bonded areas and warehouses, ensuring proper monitoring and follow-up.
    • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular verification and reporting.
  • Act as technical representative and/or contract owner for relevant contracts such as 3rd party service provider agreements
  • Ensure accurate cost allocation for all supply base activities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain governing documents, procedures, and processes related to supply base and inventory management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within supply base and inventory operations.
  • Represent Vår Energi in relevant industry projects and networks, including Offshore Norge, NLP, software forums, and operator forums.
  • Provide logistics and inventory support and advisory services across organisational units.
  • Act as the company’s focal point for security matters at the supply base.
  • Contribute actively to achieving strategic objectives and performance targets.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in SCM, business, technical engineering or similar. Relevant experience can compensate for education.
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a comparable role
  • In depth knowledge of logistics processes
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (e.g. NOG, NORSOK, ISO ++) applicable for logistics operations
  • SAP and Kabal knowledge is beneficial
