Sr. IT Engineer - Intune

Cegal is growing to become a leading global technology powerhouse for the energy industry and a contributor to driving the green transition. We’re experiencing solid growth in digitalization projects and now we’re looking for new colleagues.

We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer – Intune to join our Customer Operations Team and take ownership of our enterprise device management platform. You will play a key role in delivering secure, scalable, and user-friendly endpoint solutions across multiple customer environments.

Responsibilities

Your contributions:

As our Senior IT Engineer – Intune, you will:

  • Own the Intune platform within Operations, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable device management.
  • Provide technical expertise and hands-on support across device management, security, and compliance.
  • Act as the primary advisor on endpoint management strategy and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to maintain alignment with security and compliance frameworks.
  • Optimize key Intune features such as Autopilot, Conditional Access, and Co-management.

Some sample tasks/responsibilities:

Intune / Endpoint Management

  • Administer, configure, and support Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager across multiple environments.
  • Manage Autopilot, Co-management, and MDM/MAM for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Handle and resolve Intune-related support tickets, incidents, and service requests.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with Security and Infrastructure teams on Conditional Access, compliance, and identity protection.

Modern Workplace / Process Improvement

  • Integrate Intune with Microsoft 365 services such as Azure AD, Defender, and Teams.
  • Drive automation and efficiency through PowerShell scripting and process standardization.
  • Support lifecycle management from provisioning to decommissioning and continuously improve the user experience.

Collaboration and Ownership

  • Serve as the Operations owner for Intune-related incidents, requests, and changes.
  • Share knowledge and mentor colleagues across Infrastructure and Service Desk teams.
  • Act as the main point of contact toward vendors and partners on Intune-related matters.

  • Practical experience with Autopilot, Conditional Access, and Co-management.
  • Experience with PowerShell and modern device management practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Formal requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (relevant work experience may compensate).
  • Proven experience in endpoint management, IT operations, or enterprise infrastructure.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102), Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), or similar are a plus but not required.
