Job description

As Senior Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) you are part of DeepHealth’s customer success team and play a vital role in training the clinical end users of our chest CT and X‑ray solutions and services. CAS is the go‑to source for our customers when it comes to clinical queries, workflow optimizations and training of users, driving adoption of our products and services. You also function as a clinical subject matter expert for internal DeepHealth teams and own the feedback process from customer to our development teams.

You help customers understand and leverage the products and services they acquired, solve queries related to clinical results and workflows, and build relationships with our end users to identify opportunities for feature development and product improvements.

As a CAS you provide clinical support, guidance, and knowledge resources to help our users achieve their clinical objectives and improve patient care through effective use of our products and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and conduct high‑quality customer training (onsite or virtual) to maximize customer satisfaction and product adoption.
  2. Develop and conduct Train‑the‑Trainer training (onsite or virtual) for commercial partners to enable knowledge transfer to indirect customers.
  3. Drive and own the feedback collection, classification and hand‑over to internal DeepHealth stakeholders by conducting monthly feedback review meetings, quarterly review boards etc.
  4. Mentor, guide and train Junior Clinical Application Specialists.
  5. Actively contribute to sales enablement activities (product demos, sales training, marketing material reviews, webinars etc.).
  6. Actively contribute to cross‑departmental activities related to product releases, quality audits and/or research activities.
  7. Represent the company and participate in national and international medical conferences.
  8. Address clinical end user complaints and clinical support inquiries to enhance customer experience.
  9. Log relevant customer interactions in the CRM and/or QMS system.
  10. Act as the advocate for current and future customers within the organization.
  11. Serve as subject matter expert in your modality to other internal departments like marketing, quality, product etc.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a medical imaging/healthcare field (or equivalent level of practical clinical experience in radiology).
  • At least 3 years working experience as a clinical application specialist in the medical imaging industry or related fields like radiotherapy, pharma etc.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge in diagnostic radiology is required.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge of radiology workflows is required.
  • Proficiency in advanced visualization software.
  • Effective educator, capable of translating highly technical knowledge in understandable clinical training.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain influential customer relationships.
  • Ability to support sales and marketing initiatives from a clinical perspective.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently (home office) and as a team player.
  • Superb verbal and written presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects.
  • Customer‑centric mindset with a drive to understand customer needs.
  • Collaborative approach partnering with the sales, service & delivery, operations, support, and product teams for clinical success.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a CAS role in a radiology AI setting.
  • Experience with advanced visualization or AI software for chest CT.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Suite, Healthcare Applications/Products.

Working Conditions

A flexible work environment is possible, and may have the ability to work remotely, depending upon location.

Physical Requirements

This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high‑level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. The position requires the ability to travel (~10% of time).
