Clarion Hotel The Hub is looking for a talented, creative and experienced Pastry Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of baking techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for crafting beautiful and delicious pastries. You will prepare delicious, high-quality pastries, contribute to menu development, and ensure food is presented at its best.

What will you do?
  • Manage and lead the shift, including break management
  • Act as a deputy for the Assistant Head Chef
  • Guide and coach the staff
  • Produce high-quality food according to orders
  • Contribute to achieving cost goals by minimizing waste
  • Creatively contribute to menu development
  • Monitor quality and presentation
  • Contribute to a high level of service in close collaboration with the rest of the team

This is a permanent position for 100% with a start date to be agreed upon. The position requires working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Who are you?
  • You are used to focusing on high quality and good service in a busy everyday life.
  • It is desirable that you have a vocational certificate as a chef and leadership experience.
  • You are a skilled chef with good structure and the ability to organize your work effectively.
  • You have a great passion for Nordic and local ingredients, and you are motivated by being in a creative environment where you can contribute your own ideas.

The most important thing is that you are professionally skilled and deliver high quality in everything you do. A vocational certificate as a chef is desirable but not a requirement.
