NaturalMotion in London is seeking a Client Generalist Software Engineer to help build a new, unannounced mobile game. You will work across gameplay, meta, and core tech, owning features end-to-end while collaborating with design and backend teams. The role combines hybrid office days in London with working from home.
You will design and implement features in UE5, build tooling for engineers and creators, and help scope tasks and systems, while triaging and fixing bugs as priorities shift.
NaturalMotion is an award-winning UK game studio dedicated to crafting world-class mobile experiences. Alongside our continued live-service development on CSR Racing 2 (#1 drag racing series of all time), our team is stepping into its next chapter with an ambitious, unannounced project. Honoured for eight consecutive years as a GamesIndustry.biz Best Place to Work in the UK winner and named a Top 50 UK Game Maker in 2025 and 2026, we offer a collaborative studio culture backed by the global reach of Zynga and Take-Two Interactive.
We are looking for a Client Generalist Software Engineer to join us at NaturalMotion to help build a new, unannounced mobile free-to-play action game. We have a well-rounded, passionate and tight-knit, distributed team with a healthy mix of engineering skill levels and are looking to strengthen our team in addressing the diverse and complex technical challenges at the core of our products. You will work across gameplay, meta, and core tech, owning features end-to-end rather than staying in one lane. We are looking for someone who is comfortable switching between domains and communicates clearly with design and backend. You don't need to be an expert in every area. We care more about your willingness to learn, and our team will mentor you as you grow into new domains.
We embrace a hybrid work environment. Within this role, you would work 2 days per week in our London office and the remaining days at home.
