Cisco Systems, Inc. in Norway near Oslo is seeking a software engineer to join the Camera intelligence team. You will help push the limit of autonomous camera switching and composition using intelligent perception of the room, contributing to cinematic meeting experiences.

You will collaborate with designers, product managers and other engineers, writing code in C++/Python, and applying modern AI agent tools to build and ship software. Strong ownership and teamwork are valued.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

We strive to create best-in-class video conferencing experiences by bringing together diverse engineering teams under one roof.

One of the engineering teams located in the Devices innovation center is the \"Camera intelligence\" team, who are now looking for a software engineer to join the team and help us push the limit of what we can achieve even further. Cisco provides multi-camera meeting systems to various customers and our team develops and maintains so called cinematic meeting experience where the system automatically select the best view for the current scene. Our goal is to make our devices deliver the best video productions of any meeting. You will be part of a software team, but also work closely with designers, product management and other engineering teams within and outside of Cisco to improve our products.

You will:

• Build features and maintain functionality by writing software in C++/Python

• You will work with modern AI agents as a regular part of the role, using current agent-based tools to design, build, and ship software.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• You hold a degree in computer science or equivalent


• Programming experience in C++
