Job summary

Everything Policy is seeking a Social Media & Community Manager to lead our social strategy and grow our online communities. This remote, full-time role focuses on expanding our social presence, increasing engagement, and building a robust subscriber base through email nurturing and targeted campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Direct experience with demand generation and inbound marketing.
  • 2–5 years of direct business experience.
  • Proven track record growing a digital footprint on social platforms.
  • W2 or contractor relationship flexibility.

As our organization continues to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and experienced Social Media & Community Manager to join our team.

Position Overview

Have you successfully created, maintained and grown several prominent social media accounts? Do you actively post, tweet, and reshare social media content in your sleep? Have you been responsible for exponential growth of multiple online communities? We're looking for a Social Media Manager to implement our social media strategy, as well as community outreach and engagement. Emphasis will be placed on growing our social presence and subscriber list, and leveraging email nurturing to engage our audience in more meaningful ways. You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, list management and email nurturing, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage our organization’s social media profiles and presence, including FB/IG, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Increase website traffic from social media and digital marketing activities that engages potential supporters.
  • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to strengthen our brand, grow followers and increase subscribers.
  • Monitor and engage in relevant online discussions around topics relevant to our organization and mission.
  • Run regular social media promotions, paid ads and other campaigns while tracking success (e.g., X posts, LinkedIn discussion groups, FB ads, etc.).
  • Work alongside other team members to support various goals and objectives specific to key growth initiatives.
  • Track, measure and analyze ROI of each initiative and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to management.
Qualifications
  • Qualifications BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
  • Proficiency in leveraging social media / marketing software (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, HubSpot, Klavyo, etc.) to implement and monitor activities.
  • Direct experience with demand generation and inbound marketing essential.
  • 2-5 years’ direct business experience.
  • Proven track record of growing an organization’s digital footprint across social media platforms.
  • Able to thrive in an autonomous, friendly and results-driven environment.
  • W2 or contractor-relationship flexible.
