Skilled Welder

We are in need of a skilled welder to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures, equipment, and machinery by using various welding techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications in order to determine the appropriate welding process
• Set up and operate welding equipment including gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW)
• Ensure proper fitment and alignment of parts before welding
• Monitor the welding process to avoid overheating or warping of materials
• Inspect completed welds for strength and quality assurance
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements
