Job summary

FamilyFirst Qatar in Alta, Norway is seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team. You will read blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements, and fabricate metal parts using MIG, TIG and stick welding.

You will operate saws, shears and drill presses to cut and shape metal, repair damaged structures, inspect work for quality, and maintain a tidy, safe workspace. This is a full-time position with urgent start and visa support.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Metal Worker or similar role.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG and Stick welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Valid work permit for Norway.
