Job description

We are looking to strengthen our Salesforce Platform team in PCT with a skilled Salesforce Platform Engineer to help us successfully implement and optimize nCino, a cloud-based banking operating system built on the Salesforce platform.

Credit and Working Capital (CWC) is part of the BMN Product, Channels and Technology (PCT) division and is responsible for all products and solutions related to financing to corporate customers. Our overall goal is to offer competitive products and solutions adapted to customer needs, size, and geographical location.

What we are looking for

We are seeking engineers with a growth mindset who can inspire colleagues and partners—balancing humility with the willingness to take the lead when needed. You should be passionate about technology with a strong interest in exploring new tools and practices. Equally important is your ability to be a good team player, understanding the need to collaborate for achieving great results.

You do not necessarily need many years of hands‑on experience, but an understanding of Salesforce fundamentals is an advantage, and a keen willingness to grow your expertise in this domain and become a core part of our platform team.

Responsibilities
  • Platform Development & Governance
    • Design, build, and maintain the Salesforce platform that underpins multiple products and domains within Corporate Banking.
    • Establish best practices and guardrails to ensure consistency, security, and future scalability.
    • Participate in Governance forums and establish guidelines and guardrail for operating multiple domains and apps on the same Salesforce platform.
  • Security & Deployment
    • Implement and uphold security standards and compliance measures within the Salesforce environment.
    • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and environment configurations (e.g., GitHub actions, autoRabit, Azure DevOps) to enable smooth deployments.
  • Serve as the go‑to resource for development teams working on the platform, providing guidance on architecture, performance, and new Salesforce/nCino capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to align business requirements, ensuring the platform effectively supports current and future projects.
  • Strategic Impact
    • Contribute to the long‑term strategy of Corporate Banking by expanding the Salesforce ecosystem (e.g., Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Financial Services Cloud).
    • Address architecture and security challenges with cloud‑based solutions (SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS), ensuring robust, future‑proof implementations.
Qualifications and Technical Skills Required
  • Experience with Salesforce platform development (e.g., Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Triggers, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and environment management (e.g., GitHub Actions, AutoRabit, gearset, Azure DevOps or equivalent)
  • Cloud Architecture & Security: Familiarity with architecture and security considerations in cloud‑based solutions (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and Azure entraID
  • Agile methodologies: Understanding of Scrum or Kanban principles for iterative development
Advantageous Experience
  • Salesforce Certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, or Consultant)
  • Familiarity with nCino or a strong willingness to learn and specialize in it
  • AWS or other cloud services
  • Understanding of TDD (Test‑Driven Development) or DDD (Domain‑Driven Design)

A higher technical education is preferred, but we acknowledge that extensive relevant experience can compensate. You must be fluent in English (both oral and written). Norwegian skills are a plus.
