Job summary

VitalEssence Spa in Oslo, Norway is seeking a talented Senior Web Developer to design, code and modify websites according to client specifications. You will develop new features, ensure cross-browser compatibility and collaborate with designers to create visually compelling sites.

The ideal candidate has strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills, experience with PHP or Python for back-end tasks, and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent. English communication is essential; Norwegian is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Senior Web Developer or similar role.
• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other front-end languages.
• Experience with back-end programming using languages such as PHP or Python.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and best practices for cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good communication skills in English; Norwegian language skills are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
