Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications and ensuring their high performance and responsiveness.

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. We are open to both local and international candidates who have a valid work visa for Norway. This is an urgent role, so we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining server-side code for web applications.
• Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Developing secure APIs for use by front-end applications.
• Troubleshooting issues with existing code and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
• Writing clean, efficient and well-documented code.
• Ensuring the scalability and performance of the back-end systems.
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to back-end development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Back-End Developer.
• Strong proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python or PHP.
• Experience with database management systems such as MySQL or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of API development tools like Postman.
• Understanding of security principles and data protection.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.

Salary: 1200$ per month.

Location: This job is located in Oslo, Norway.
