Job summary
Qube Research & Technologies invites a Network Engineer to join the Network Engineering function responsible for design, reliability, and optimisation of the wide-area network supporting global research and trading. You will operate and troubleshoot WAN, implement MPLS-based solutions, and collaborate with operations and automation teams to ensure robust connectivity and telemetry.
A strong background in BGP, EVPN, MVPN, multicast, and traffic engineering is required, with experience on Arista
Qualifications
- Strong practical experience with MPLS networks and WAN design.
- Hands-on knowledge of EVPN, VPNv4 and IPv4 BGP.
- Experience with multicast and MVPN deployments.
- Proficient with at least one major router platform.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex MPLS, routing and forwarding.
- Familiarity with network automation and telemetry.
Responsibilities
- Operate, troubleshoot, and enhance large-scale WAN environments.
- Design, implement, and support MPLS-based solutions.
- Configure and maintain routing services across multi-site network.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot multicast services (MVPN).
- Analyse MPLS label operations and end-to-end forwarding.
- Support TCP/IP-based services and traffic flows.
- Produce and maintain accurate design artefacts and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to progress projects.
- Act as escalation point for complex network issues.
