Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Senior Support Engineer – Advanced Application Modelling Specialist to join the Electrification team in Oslo, Norway.

You will drive software support, deployment, and lifecycle maintenance for critical network analysis applications, collaborating closely with customer engineers to resolve complex issues and ensure high availability. You will participate in CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot convergence and solver errors, and contribute to documentation and handovers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of power systems fundamentals and network modelling.
• Experience supporting complex software in high availability environments.

Responsibilities

• Support, deploy, and maintain electrical network analysis applications.
• Troubleshoot calculation and solver errors in high-availability setups.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related DevOps tooling.
• Collaborate with customer engineers and GE Vernova software factories.
• Manage database configurations, server environments, and networking.
• Produce documentation and support manuals; ensure smooth handovers.
