Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect/Technical Architect to lead architecture across multiple software projects. You will define architectures for OT and IT integrations, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience as Solution Architect or Technical Architect in a complex domain.
• Experience with highly available, critical systems (24/7).
• Experience in energy systems, OT environments, or Energy Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of integration architectures across OT/IT environments.
• Cloud architecture experience (AWS and/or Azure) with container tech such as Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of microservices and RESTful APIs; production Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with on-premise/virtualized environments (Windows, Linux, VMware).
• Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, Scrum, and DevOps in iterative product development.
• Strong cybersecurity awareness and data protection considerations for critical infrastructure.
• Ability to define architectures using standard products and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain architecture for integrations between GE Vernova solutions and customer apps across OT and IT environments.
• Ensure designs meet functional and non-functional requirements including performance, cybersecurity, and scalability.
• Promote standardization through reference architectures and reusable design patterns.
• Evaluate impact of changes on the deployed solution landscape.
