Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize algorithms for LiDAR data processing, including point cloud filtering, segmentation, and feature extraction.
• Implement and integrate LiDAR image processing techniques, such as image registration, stitching, and 3D reconstruction.
• Lead the implementation and integration of state-of-the-art LiDAR image processing techniques, such as image registration, stitching, and 3D reconstruction.
• Develop programs for data reduction chain, optimizing measurements accuracy and geometrical calibration.
• Responsible for specification, development, testing, and documentation of software.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent C/C++ programming experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Measurement Technology, or equivalent.

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in C / C++ programming for real-time hardware-near embedded programming under tight constraints on computing power and memory footprint.
• Familiarity with signal processing principles, data acquisition, and processing tools.
• Experience in analysis of real-time data and evaluation of data reduction methods.
• Ability to design mathematical models of real-world systems and experience with fitting model parameters.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical skills, including root cause analysis.
