Job summary

Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance Company is seeking a Sr. Property Claims Manager to lead the Property Claims function across Personal, Commercial, and Farm lines.

The role supervises multiple teams, sets direction, and ensures accurate, timely, and compliant claim resolution. The position reports to the Director of Property Damage claims, and requires experience handling complex claims with a focus on service excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of insurance experience with emphasis on property, commercial, and farm claims.
• 5+ years of management experience preferred.
• Industry designation(s)/certifications (CPCU, AIC, SCLA) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with claims software including Xactimate and XactAnalysis.
• Advanced knowledge of building practices and regulatory environments.
• Strong analytics, reporting and complex claims evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Property Claims across multiple lines.
• Achieve business unit targets and key performance measures.
• Develop and administer the department expense budget.
• Ensure compliance with customer service standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage escalation handling, file quality, and risk mitigation processes.
• Partner with service providers and internal stakeholders to resolve claims promptly.
