Job description

We are now looking for a senior project engineer to join our Railway Division in Oslo. Through a framework agreement, maintenance and changes are carried out in the existing plant base consisting of both remote-control centers and local screen-based operator stations. In addition, there are installations of various PLC types that are in operation at more than 100 railway stations.

Tasks:

  • Design and configuration of automation systems.
  • Testing and commissioning of automation systems.
  • Service and troubleshooting of automation systems.
  • Participate in concept and feasibility studies, and detailed design work.
  • Participate in the further development of Rail Manager (train control center).
  • Participate in the development of a train simulator based on SattLine.
  • Knowledge of security is an advantage.

Your background:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in the areas of railway signaling, PLC programming and IT solutions.
  • Experience and understanding of railway applications and computer systems.
  • Experience with railway signaling related to automation systems.
  • Fluent Norwegian, written and spoken.
  • Limited travel is expected.
