Job summary

This role includes offshore work and follows a rotational schedule.

Job description

• Participate in Mechanical Completion (MC) walk-downs, register completion work, and resolve technical queries.
• Ensure all documentation for mechanical completion is complete and accurate.
• Oversee electrical, instrumentation, automation, and telecommunication disciplines within the MC scope.
• Issue completion certificates and manage the timely handover to the commissioning team.
• Verify and approve MC documentation from suppliers and update relevant completion systems.
• Act as a key liaison between the MC team and the engineering organization.
• Implement, follow up, and report on MC activities according to the project plan.
• Manage and sign off on outstanding punch lists.

Required Expertise

• Technical college or engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Mechanical Completion (MC) from oil and gas projects, preferably including offshore or Power from Shore projects.
• Proficient with MC processes, project coordination, and completion tools such as PIMS.
• Solid understanding of interdisciplinary work, system-oriented completion, and relevant standards (e.g., NORSOK, ATEX, IEC).
• Structured solution-oriented approach with strong execution capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
• Strong focus on HSE and quality in all aspects of work.
• Language: English
• Location: Børdalen, Norway (includes offshore work)
• Work schedule: Rotational (13/15 schedule)
