Job summary

NOV in Norway is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process engineering activities across tenders and project execution within the oil and gas sector. This role blends hands-on technical work with project coordination and small-team leadership.

You will independently deliver process engineering, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive feasibility studies, design reviews, and technical deliverables while remaining actively involved in engineering work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience within O&G.
• Proficient in process design and HYSYS.
• Availability for occasional travel (2–3 weeks).
• FEED and EPC experience (MEG regeneration, CO2/H2S removal, WI, PW).
• Ability to lead small teams and take ownership.
• Strong communication and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities across tenders and project execution.
• Collaborate with the Discipline Manager to align team objectives.
• Provide process input to other inter-discipline design activities.
• Interface with vendors and stakeholders for process deliverables.
• Ensure deliverables meet scope, time, budget, and quality.
• Execute feasibility studies, conceptual design, and process studies.
• Support design reviews (P&ID, HAZOP, SIL, HAZID) and client meetings.
• Identify risks and opportunities for process improvements.
