Location: Bergen

Assignment Description

  1. Detailed design of instrumentation tasks.
  2. Participate in studies.
  3. Estimate instrumentation tasks.
  4. Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
  5. Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).
  6. Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.
  7. Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.
  8. Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.
  9. Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.
  10. Perform as-built.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware or a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
  3. Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written, or strong English skills.
  4. Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR, STID, ProCoSys, ARIS.
  5. Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/M&M).
  6. Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry.
  7. Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
  8. Valid offshore and health certificates.
