Job summary

reMarkable is seeking a Senior People Advisor to join our People team in Oslo. You will partner with leaders to understand their organisation, challenges, and priorities, translating business needs into practical HR decisions across the employee lifecycle.

You will coach managers on leadership, performance, and development, support employee relations under Norwegian law, and lead cross-functional People projects to shape our culture and organisation as we scale.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Business Partner or People Advisor.
• Experience partnering with managers and senior leaders.
• Good understanding of Norwegian employment legislation.
• Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional People projects.
• Strong English communication; Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is a plus.

We are looking for a Senior People Advisor to join our People team in Oslo. This is a broad People role for someone who enjoys working close to the business, building strong relationships, and turning organizational needs into practical action. You will work across the full employee lifecycle, act as a trusted advisor, and lead cross-functional projects that shape our employee experience.

About the role

As a Senior People Advisor, you will partner closely with leaders to understand their organisation, challenges, and priorities. You will provide advice and support on both strategic and operational People topics while helping leaders translate business needs into effective decisions.

Your responsibilities will include

• Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and change.

• Coaching managers on leadership, performance, feedback, and employee development.

• Supporting employee relations matters in accordance with Norwegian employment legislation and internal policies.

• Supporting and driving People processes across the employee lifecycle, using data and insights to address challenges.

• Leading cross-functional People projects from scoping through stakeholder alignment, implementation, and follow-up.

We are looking for the following experience

• Solid experience from an HR Business Partner or People Advisor role, including handling organisational change.

• Experience partnering directly with managers and senior leaders.

• Good understanding of Norwegian employment legislation.

• Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional projects or People processes.

• Strong communication skills in English (Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is an advantage).

Experience from technology, product or another fast-moving international environment is valuable, but not essential.
