Job summary

TechnipFMC Norge is seeking a Senior Project Planner in Kongsberg to lead the establishment and control of schedules for studies, tenders, and project execution. The role requires developing Level 3/4 schedules spanning engineering to commissioning and presenting updates to management.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering/business degree, 5–7 years of offshore planning experience, and strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, with offshore installation exposure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years of planning experience within offshore, subsea, SURF, EPCI, or energy projects.
• Strong experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Experience in offshore installation campaigns, vessel operations, and subsea project execution is preferred.
• Good understanding of project controls principles including progress measurement, forecasting, change management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and control project schedules for studies, tenders, and project execution phases.
• Develop and maintain integrated Level 3 and Level 4 schedules across engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
• Prepare offshore execution schedules and vessel plans based on daily progress reports.
• Monitor project progress, schedule performance, manpower utilization, and milestones against baselines.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and recovery planning.
• Prepare and present internal and client project reports and management presentations.
• Forecast and monitor project resource requirements and support manpower planning.
