Job summary

Golar Management As is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to support design, engineering, integration, commissioning and operation of HVAC systems for offshore energy facilities, including FLNG projects. The role ensures HVAC equipment is fit-for-purpose, compliant, properly integrated and supported by high-quality documentation.

The candidate will collaborate across vendors, engineering disciplines, project management, commissioning, operations and maintenance teams to deliver reliable HVAC

Qualifications

• Relevant experience with HVAC equipment and systems in offshore energy/oil and gas/marine industries.
• Experience with HVAC package engineering and vendor follow-up.
• Ability to review vendor calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of offshore and maritime standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow up and manage the HVAC package with equipment vendors and engineering contractors.
• Conduct technical assessments of HVAC equipment for regulatory requirements and project specs.
• Review vendor documentation and manage deviations, concessions and changes.
• Identify risks and drive timely resolution with vendors and project stakeholders.
• Ensure required documentation is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
• Review FAT procedures and attend inspections, design reviews and vendor meetings.
