Job summary

Sperton Global AS is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer for an offshore Modification & Maintenance project in Stavanger, Norway. The role involves contributing to technical design, QA, and multidisciplinary coordination to meet project standards and deadlines.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical Engineering/HVAC, at least 3 years of HVAC design experience, and offshore project exposure. Familiarity with MIPS/Navisworks/E3D and offshore safety certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant HVAC design experience.
• Experience with offshore modification projects, preferably in the North Sea oil and gas industry.
• Good understanding of relevant HVAC standards and applicable regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Valid offshore safety course or relevant offshore certification, as required for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and quality-assure HVAC engineering deliverables.
• Perform capacity calculations and technical assessments of HVAC systems.
• Coordinate HVAC interfaces with clients, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.
• Contribute to installation planning, testing, and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and technical standards.
• Review 3D models, technical drawings, and supplier documentation.
• Recommend design improvements and cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain engineering documentation and ensure design changes are incorporated.
• Ensure deliverables meet project quality requirements and agreed deadlines.
• Support engineering planning, progress monitoring, and reporting.
