Job summary

Runna is building the #1 training platform for runners, with a cross-functional team of engineering, product, design and coaching. The London office anchors a flexible hybrid model, with three days per week on-site to collaborate in person.

You’ll build and test new training features, experiment with algorithms, mentor engineers, and collaborate with coaches to deliver data-driven training to users worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or modelling-focused experience.
• Proficiency in Python with production-quality code.
• Ability to design complex algorithms and modelling components.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with testing modelling-focused software.
• Familiarity with iterative development and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deliver new training features (plans for illness, injury, weather, etc.).
• Experiment with algorithms, design patterns, optimisations and modelling approaches.
• Coach and support engineers with mentorship and code reviews.
• Collaborate with coaches to deliver expertise to users.
• Use data-led approaches to influence algorithms.
• Design and implement test approaches to ensure consistency and accuracy.
