Are you an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in mechanical equipment packages for offshore oil and gas projects? Would you like to contribute to brownfield modification projects and work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams in Bergen?
In this role, you will act as a Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for assigned mechanical equipment packages. You will be responsible for developing technical specifications, evaluating supplier bids, reviewing technical documentation, and coordinating with suppliers and other engineering disciplines to ensure that equipment packages meet project requirements.
A key part of the assignment involves reviewing supplier proposals and handling deviations related to Equinor's ST and STS requirements. You will also participate in package execution, supplier follow-up, client coordination, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
